For a proper meal: katsu, oyako and tempura jubako at Narita Airport
Before a long flight, or after a long journey. On a day when noodles are not quite enough, we suggest a jubako, a lacquered box set served over rice.
We are a noodle restaurant first, but rice dishes built on the same dashi are the other half of what we do.
The standards
- Katsu jubako 1,690 yen
- Charcoal-grilled oyako jubako 1,690 yen
- Tendon jubako 1,880 yen
- Anago tempura jubako 2,200 yen
In katsu and oyako, the sweetness of the dashi soaks into the egg and the rice. Tendon is different again: freshly fried batter meeting the sauce.
Or a little of each
If a whole jubako is too much but you still want rice, a set is the answer: a small rice bowl and noodles together.
- Small tendon with tororo-kombu udon set 1,580 yen
- Small tendon with cold zaru 1,580 yen
- Small katsudon with tororo-kombu udon set 1,580 yen
- Small katsudon with cold zaru 1,580 yen
Adding a side
You can also add a small rice dish after ordering noodles.
- Small katsudon 980 yen
- Small tendon 980 yen
- Seasonal takikomi rice 600 yen
About the rice
We use Japanese-grown rice. Ingredients, presentation and tableware may change with the season.
